The attorney for a former Florida tax collector filed a supplemental sentencing memorandum for his client.
Joel Greenberg pleaded guilty to sex trafficking in July of 2021.
According to court documents, Greenberg turned over evidence on several key figures.
Greenberg, a friend of Rep. Matt Gaetz — who is also being investigated for sex trafficking — reportedly cooperated with federal authorities in an investigation as part of his plea deal.
While Greenberg awaits sentencing on Dec. 1, his attorney is asking the Department of Justice why it hasn’t prosecuted the other individuals, including public figures.
Greenberg went on to say the plea agreement refers to multi-conspirators including individuals involved in his sex offenses.
