Fortnite’s Week 8 missions have arrived, and one of the two-stage missions in this batch has players putting their foraging skills to the test.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 – despite the lack of new content for the majority of it – seems to have flown by. We’re already at week eight, which brought us the long-awaited Fortnite Update 25.20. A new week means a new batch of quests, and this week has brought us four new ones – which doesn’t seem like much, but looks can be deceiving. Three of these are multi-stage quests which will unlock new tasks upon the completion of the original.

One of the quests in question this week is challenging players to search containers in Fortnite 20 times, which on the surface sounds pretty simple, and for once, it is! This quest doesn’t even require you to open 20 Chests; Ammo Boxes, Coolers, Produce Boxes, and Fishing Rod barrels are all fair game. You’ll definitely finish this quest naturally by just playing the game as normal; however, there’s ways to make this quest even easier if you head to the right spots.

Where to search containers in Fortnite

There’s a few areas that are great places to search containers in Fortnite. You can absolutely blast through this quest at some of these locations, so we’ve compiled the areas we think are best to complete this mission.

First off is our beloved Mega City, which is the number one area for loot. While you won’t find any Coolers or Produce Boxes here, there’s 118 chests in this area alone, with a further 88 Ammo Boxes to boot. Simply running around this area at the start of a match for a while will be more than enough to guarantee that you’ll be able to search containers in Fortnite 20 times. However, this area is typically very busy (especially if the Battle Bus flies over it) so if you show up here later in a game, there’s a chance the place will be thoroughly ransacked. Plus, you’ll need to deal with some gunfights with other players, which could send you back to another long load before you get the chance to search containers in Fortnite 20 times.

Another solid area to complete this will have you move out of the city into the rural areas of the map. Specifically, you’re going to want to head to the petrol station that has a caravan park and a bridge next to it. Look for this area on the map to the north of Frenzy Fields and to the southwest of Rumble Ruins. This caravan park has ample amounts of Chests, Coolers, Ammo Boxes and Produce Boxes, and more importantly, it’s far quieter than any of the named locations in the game. If you come up a little short of the 20 in this area, the petrol station across the street and the nearby bridge also have containers available, which should push you over the finish line and reward you with a very nice 40,000 XP.
