Fortnite update 25.20 patch notes: Futurama skins, new mythics, popular shotgun unvaulted(Epic Games)

After a month-long hiatus, Fortnite update 25.20 is finally here, and it’s brought home some crossover skins as an apology.

Good news everyone! Fortnite has returned from it’s summer hiatus with update 25.20 arriving today after some downtime (even if it was a day late). Speaking of things that went on a hiatus and returned within the last week, Futurama is back, and to celebrate, Fry, Leela and Bender have made their way to Fortnite alongside this latest update.

The Futurama X Fortnite crossover features skins for Fry, Leela, and Bender, with extra styles based on their alternate universe counterparts from the season four episode ‘The Farnsworth Parabox’ with Nibbler, Ben Rodríguez, and the glorious Hypnotoad making cameos as back blings. Not only that but Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun has appeared on the island as a special weapon, which will remain in-game until update 25.30.

Fortnite 25.20 patch notes

The following is the Fortnite Update 25.20 patch notes as posted by Epic Games on the Fortnite Website:

New Weapons

Benders Shiny Metal Raygun

On the Island ‘til v25.30, Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun can be found from the ground, or from Bender himself if you have the Bars. Fire an infinite supply of plasma with this weapon — but be careful because it’ll overheat and need to cool down if you fire too much at once!

Mammoth Pistol

Like an ancient beast, the new Mammoth Pistol is big and powerful and at home in the Wilds. It’s a large-caliber, single-shot pistol that uses heavy ammo, meaning it’ll deliver a crushing blow if you land a shot!

Mammoth Pistols can be found not only in the Wilds but across the whole Island. Get one from the ground, Chests, Holo-Chests, or a flying drone.
