The second season of MW2 is well underway and players are now busy enjoying the features that have been introduced. Most users were particularly excited about the return of Infected, which has predictably become one of the more popular game modes upon its release.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and, much like previous installments, this second chapter will also inevitably come to a close. So now you may be wondering to yourself when Season 2 ends? Not to worry, because we’ll be answering just that below, so keep reading on to find out when it is.

MW2 Season 2 End Date

MW2 Season 2 will most likely end on April 11, 2023 based on the countdown timer displayed within the game’s Battle Pass page. Although it hasn’t officially been confirmed yet, we expect this to be the case since previous seasons have also displayed an identical time frame.

During the second chapter’s launch last February 15, the timer had previously shown a duration of 55 days. By comparison, Season 1 was a few days longer purely because of the delays that the developers experienced. Hopefully, the arrival of the next chapter will be free from technical issues so it receives a timely release.

With the midseason reloaded update underway following its launch on Wednesday, March 15, it appears MW2 is on schedule with Season 2, leaving fans roughly four weeks until the next season commences.

Once Season 2 ends on the aforementioned date, the next season should start soon after barring any unforeseen circumstances. With a handful of weeks still left before it ends, however, there’s still plenty of time to enjoy everything that’s on offer. This includes the unique rewards that the Battle Pass brings as well as the enjoyable game modes that have now returned.
