Goldeneye 007, the classic N64 title from Rare and Nintendo, has finally made its way to modern day consoles. Naturally, the developers made a few key improvements to the retro to make it more palatable for the current generation of gamers.

With the game’s availability having been announced for Microsoft and Nintendo systems, the Sony player base now wants to know if the James Bond-inspired creation will similarly be playable on the PlayStation 4. Here’s what we know about its availability on the popular previous gen console.

Can you play Goldeneye 007 on the PS4?

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to play Goldeneye 007 on the PS4 as it’s currently only available for Xbox and Nintendo systems. If you don’t have either of these platforms, however, you’ll be able to play the game through mobile devices using the Cloud Gaming functionality of Xbox Game Pass.

Before you can play it though, you will have to go through a few easy steps. Once you’ve got it installed, playing is as simple as signing in and starting up the game. Goldeneye 007 also isn’t the only title you’ll be able to play using the Xbox Cloud Gaming feature.

A variety of other titles available through Game Pass, such as Hi-Fi Rush and Fortnite, can also be played through Microsoft’s clever subscription service. Keep in mind, though, that since you’ll be playing on a relatively less powerful device than your console, some game’s performances may not be ideal.

But since Goldeneye 007 isn’t exactly known as a technically advanced creation compared to most of today’s games, it should perform fairly well on the device that you choose to play it on.
