Mallowsweet is one of the most important items in Hogwarts Legacy because you’ll need it to complete the puzzling Merlin Trials. Although you’ll be given a few to use once you discover the first trial, you’ll run out soon enough due to the large number of challenges scattered throughout the map.

Unfortunately, the game doesn’t exactly specify where you can get more of these resources so it can often be difficult to track down. Fortunately, we’re here to show you all of the ways that you can acquire more Mallowsweet Leaves so you can keep on completing all of the Merlin Trials found throughout The Highlands.

How to Get Mallowsweet in Hogwarts Legacy

You can get Mallowsweet Leaves from The Magic Neep in Hogsmeade for 100 Galleons each. Alternatively, you can also buy Mallowseet Seeds at the same spot instead for 200 Galleons, which you can then grow infinitely using any type of pot.

You can use the small pot inside the Greenhouses to grow Mallowsweet, but you’ll have to finish Professor Garlick’s opening Herbology class first. If you’ve unlocked the Room of Requirement, you’ll be able to conjure up a Potting Table inside which you can then similarly use to grow Mallowsweet.

You can purchase spellcrafts for pots of different sizes at Tomes & Scrolls near South Hogsmeade. Spellcrafts that consist of small pots are typically the cheapest ones as you can purchase them for as low as 400 Galleons. On the other hand, medium and large pot spellcrafts are much more expensive as the lowest priced ones range from 1,000-1,500 Galleons.

It’s important to note that it takes 10 minutes for the seeds to mature. Afterwards, each plant you harvest yields 5 Mallowsweet Leaves every time. If you use Fertilizer, you’ll get an additional piece once you collect it again.
