Dev’s comment: Following extensive discussion and review, we are bringing back some items that were temporarily disabled. Previous updates have taught us that items aiding in enemy detection and directly influencing engagement can significantly impact PUBG’s core gameplay. Therefore, we aim to avoid introducing such items in the future. However, tactical items like the Emergency Pickup, Folded Shield, and Mortar have demonstrated strategic value in Normal Match, Ranked, and Esports settings. Recognizing their potential to enhance gameplay variety and excitement, we are reintroducing these tactical items in this update, assigning them appropriate Inventory slots based on their attributes. For the Tactical Pack and EMT Gear, which occupy the primary weapon slot, we have increased their benefits as players will have to abandon the traditional dual-weapon play style. The All-In-One Repair Kit, now occupying the secondary weapon slot, has undergone visual updates and reduced usage limits. These changes will initially be implemented in Normal Match to evaluate their performance and gather player feedback for further discussions.
