« Yeah, it’s f*****g hard. I paid a guy $1,000 bucks to give me infinite runes so I could level up to 100 right away, » Orton said, according to Mansoor.
Mace added (impersonating Orton): « I love that game, though. It’s awesome. But no, I couldn’t deal with that bulls**t so I just paid a guy to give me a bunch of runes. »
Orton has had plenty of free time to play Elden Ring over the past year, having been out of action with a serious back injury since May 2022. Orton underwent back fusion surgery later in the year.
He is currently preparing for an in-ring return, having recently been spotted training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Elden Ring was critically acclaimed upon release.
