Cast members for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse have been revealed in an update to the anime’s official website. The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse is the sequel to the original The Seven Deadly Sins anime and manga series.
As previously discussed, The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse picks up 16 years after the Seven Deadly Sins group were disbanded. The protagonist, Percival (voiced by Shou Komura), is a young boy prophesied to destroy the world. Percival sets out to discover the three remaining knights. The protagonist will meet several characters along the way including Donny, Nasiens, and Anghalad.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Announces Cast Members
The latest update to the anime’s official website reveals Toshiyuki Morikawa, Rikiya Koyama, and Sachi Kokuryu will join the cast as Ironside, Pellegarde, and Arthur Pendragon respectively. Arthur leads the Kingdom of Camelot, and Ironside and Pellegarde assist him and the kingdom as Holy Knights.
Currently, the upcoming anime’s cast members include:
- Shou Komura as Percival
- Kikunosuke Toya as Donny
- Aino Shimada as Nasiens
- Kanna Nakamura as Anghalad
- Kouki Uchiyama as Shin
- Toshiyuki Morikawa as Ironside
- Rikiya Koyama as Pellegarde
- Sachi Kokuryu as Arthur Pendragon
Pokémon Journeys: The Series director Maki Odaira is directing The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse, and Shigeru Murakoshi will oversee and write the series scripts. Lupid the Third: Part 5 and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood animator Youichi Takada is the character designer, and renowned composers Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto will create the main theme. Further, Yamamoto will be composing the anime’s score.
Finally, Telecom Animation Film is producing the animation for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse. UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS is in charge of production and planning for the anime series.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse premieres October 8 across TV networks in Japan. A worldwide distributor (i.e. Crunchyroll) has not been announced.
